Release a new version of selfservice.unc.edu with minimum impact to end-users.  The change will be released in a rolling fashion, one node at a time, so the impact to users should be minimal, if any.  Minor changes to user interfaces generally have little to no end-user impact.

Scheduled - The DHCP Network Registration tool (https://nit.net.unc.edu/dhcp/) collects user MAC registrations which are used on multiple campus networks for access control.  These regisrations are manually cleaned up from time to time but are due for another pass. This change will remove MAC registrations from the management tool that were created over two years ago and have not been active with DHCP in the last two years.

Wireless is currently stable but the root cause of the issues on Wednesday have not been definitively determined. We are watching closely and will post additional notifications if we see issues next week.

Investigating - We have not identified the root cause of the wireless degradation. The degree of failure is small as a percentage of wireless APs, but the issue has cycled through parts of campus throughout the busiest part of the day so there is a good likelihood people experienced some issues during the day. For the moment, things are stable. We reset some equipment in the hopes this will improve the situation tomorrow when we will hit peak utilization again from around 10AM-3PM.

Scheduled - Push all student records from Campus Solutions to Directory-Manager after Census activities are complete.  This happens for Fall, Spring, Summer I and Summer II semesters.  We will release 5000 updates per hour.  After this data push, all privacy flags should be cleared for first-time students who have not chosen FERPA privacy. During this data load, updates to LDAP and AD may be slower than usual.
